ANCIENT REELS

Blast from the Past:
A dub from an old VHS tape that survived Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Broadcast CG animation that I did from 1987 to 1992 at Limelite Video Miami with the Vertigo V-2000 system and Wavefront Software. The Age of flying Logos! Limelite was one of the biggest post production studios in the US boasting the most advanced digital editing facilities of the era. It was the beta site for Sony's brand new D1 tape technology - now rare and obsolete |
And... Another:
More from the nineties; A non-sequential assembly of work from my stint at Telepost Video in the early nineties using 3D Max on a PC, (Later Softimage on an SGI), From there on to work at Radical Entertainment - again both on Max, then later on an SGI. Also special FX work using ALias on SGIs for a Scifi movie and a commercial at Motion Works Group. Finally; some solo work in Maya which I enjoyed most of all. RE: The low resolution quality - Again; Much is digitised from VHS |
